Tom
& Debbie Clark, the owner/operators of the Montrose House,
relocated to Montrose with their 3 children in October of 2002 from the
Raleigh, North Carolina area. With extensive backgrounds in the hotel
and restaurant industry, they are finally realizing their dream of
owning their own Inn and Restaurant and satisfying every guest, every
time. From the moment you enter the lobby of their 100+-year-old house,
the hand-made quilts that adorn the walls, and the paintings from local
artists on display in the restaurant make you feel right at home.
Both Debbie
and Tom are on the property every day, up early with their
"Continental Breakfast", cleaning guest rooms and getting prepared for lunch, until late in the evening with the
Restaurant and Tavern going strong. |

They
prepare "Daily Specials" for lunch and dinner and take
turns cooking and running the kitchen. All the desserts are
"homemade" by Debbie and served fresh daily. Her many
varieties of Crème Brulee and Cheesecake are the "talk of
the town" and always satisfying! On the weekends you might
find them downstairs in the "Banquet Room", setting up
for a wedding reception or cocktail party in the morning, or
"popping champagne" for the bride and groom that night.
Whatever the
occasion, Tom & Debbie always give a personal touch and are
always on hand to make sure your stay is enjoyable and memorable! |
